Brave Enough to Let Them Try: Fostering Independence and Connection as Your Child Grows With T1D

Join Kayla Chorley, CCC & Counselling Therapist, and Dr. Tracy De Boer, Registered Psychologist, for an interactive information session on the unique emotional and practical challenges faced by parents of children living with Type 1 Diabetes. This session will provide research and clinical insights on what helps parents achieve diabetes goals with their child. Parents will have the floor to ask their questions about transitioning diabetes management responsibilities to their children.

The CuriosiT1D Course: Getting Curious about Diabetes & Mental Health 

CuriosiT1D is a self-paced course designed for adults living with T1D. It provides simple, effective exercises to help you manage big emotions, set meaningful goals, and practice self-compassion. By the end of the course, you’ll have a set of practical tools to confidently handle the emotional side of Diabetes. Each lesson includes a short video, a printable exercise, and an opportunity to practice the skills in real time.
